By It could be a long summer for Toulouse FC. Many of their young prospects are already garnering considerable interest, including centre-back Christian Mawissa (19), who could soon be the subject of an offer from AS Monaco, according to a report from L’Équipe.
Reports have already surfaced linking Logan Costa (23) with a move away from Toulouse. The Cape Verde international is reportedly attracting interest from Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Fulham and Nottingham Forest, whilst another centre-back, Mawissa, is not also being linked with a departure.
Toulouse are expecting multiple offers for multiple players this summer, notably for Logan Costa, Guillaume Restes and Mawissa. The latter has been on Monaco’s radar for several week and L’Équipe understands that the Principality club will soon make concrete advances in their attempts to sign the young French centre-back, in order to beat Bundesliga sides to his signature. He won’t come cheap, with the defender’s current deal running until 2026.
