‘We know what to expect, we’re not coming to Paris as tourists’ – Dortmund’s Sébastien Haller on unfinished business with PSG – Get French Football News

It will be a special evening for Sébastien Haller (29) as he returns to the city where he was born and raised. The Ivorian striker might have grown up supporting Paris Saint-Germain but there will be no love lost when he takes to the Parc des Princes this evening.

Half the battle has been done. Borussia Dortmund walked away from Signal Iduna Park with a narrow 1-0 lead but will know that there is still work to be done if they are to eliminate their hosts and return to the Champions League final after an 11-year absence.

‘We had to move on’ – Sébastien Haller

Haller was clear when speaking to Le Parisien that the team will not take their advantage for granted, “After the first game, there were no speeches. We simply said to ourselves that the first half was over and that we had to move on.” It will be a mentality that the forward will take into the second leg.

As Haller explained, the team had only one thought on their mind as they travelled to contest the second leg, “We come to Paris and we know what to expect. We didn’t come as tourists and the only thing that interests us is to think that we will be in the Champions League final.”
