La flamme olympique à Cannes : sa “montée des marches” en images

Arnaud Assoumani, champion paralympique de saut en longueur en 2008 à Pékin, a ouvert la montée des marches avant d’être relayé par Alexis Hanquinquant, en or en paratriathlon à Tokyo en 2021, Nélia Barbosa, vice-championne paralympique de kayak au Japon, et Marie Patouillet, double médaillée de bronze en paracyclisme en 2021.

Cette montée des marches olympique coïncide avec la révélation du réalisateur du film officiel des Jeux, dont le coup d’envoi sera donné le 26 juillet (jusqu’au 11 août). Dans la foulée, sera diffusé le documentaire “Olympiques ! La France des Jeux” de Mickaël Gamrasni, qui revient sur plus d’un siècle de participation française aux JO, depuis leur création en 1896.

Depuis le 8 mai dernier à Marseille, le relais de la flamme olympique a entrepris son périple dans l’Hexagone et va traverser 64 départements jusqu’à l’ouverture des Jeux olympiques 2024, le 26 juillet prochain. Au total, quelque 10 000 porteurs vont faire le voyage aux côtés de la flamme.
