By Ivan Toney scored yet another behind-closed-doors friendly goal for Brentford as he edges closer towards his return.
The striker is still serving his eight-month ban from football after he broke the Football Association’s betting rules.
Toney has not played first-team football since May but made a return to training in September ahead of his long-awaited comeback.
During his first unofficial appearance back with Brentford, he scored a delightful goal in their B team friendly draw against Como.
Saturday saw him play his third game since returning to training and he was on hand to find the back of the net once again.
Brentford report that he scored a penalty and assisted Neal Maupay in a behind-closed-doors friendly defeat against Watford.
Also featuring in the match was Romeo Beckham, the son of England and Manchester United legend David Beckham.
The 21-year-old initially joined Brentford B on loan from Inter Miami in January before signing a permanent deal in June.
He appeared off the bench in the second half on Saturday and is said to have proved dangerous on crosses despite their defeat.
Brentford return to competitive action this weekend at home to Arsenal, but Toney still has to wait a little longer for a full comeback.

He is due to return on January 17 and despite his absence, clubs have been showing interest in a move when the transfer window opens.
However, talkSPORT understands that the Bees are hopeful Toney will sign a new contract at the club.
Arsenal and Chelsea have eyed a move amid the expiration of his current deal in June 2025, but Brentford are adamant they won’t sell.
Toney scored 21 goals in 35 appearances for the west London side last season, with all but one of those coming in the Premier League.
