Experience the work of French artist Claude Monet in a whole new light — 360-degree, floor-to-ceiling, fully immersive light and color, that is — at the Tacoma Armory starting Feb. 14.
The Tacoma Arts Live-hosted exhibition is produced and created by Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron, the masterminds behind the wildly successful “Imagine Van Gogh” exhibit that set up shop in Tacoma two years ago.
Beginning with the celebrated 1872 painting “Soleil levant” and concluding with the “Water Lillies” collection from 1914-1926, visitors will see 200 of the artist’s most notable pieces without the frame or glass.
There also will be a discovery-room space giving guests a deeper sense of the French impressionist’s work and his life, a release said.
